We are committed to reach feasible solutions to complex problems like the one required for military vehicles with airdroppable capability or for all terrain light amphibious vehicles.
Our designs are based on the use of very light but strong combination of materials, innovative structural arrangements and the application to land systems of technologies already proven in the marine and aerospace sectors.
HDS is specially committed to develop a light convertible vehicle able to pass from a fully wheeled configuration into a half-tracked configuration by means of a semi-automatic easy-going process to be performed in minutes. This solution is essential to get a light, multipurpose all terrain airdroppable vehicle.
Our designs are always based on the application of OEM COTS and/or MOTS components to reduce development time and ensure the life cycle of the product.
UNMANNED LAND
VEHICLES
HDS can provide innovative and reliable designs of unmanned land system vehicles for transport, field engineers auxiliary functions, surveillance and access denial terrain control.
Our designs can be built on aluminum and GRP materials and are based on modular designs and flexible solutions by incorporating capacities and capabilities as needed to fulfill customer’s requirements.
Our sub-system modules are specialized to provide single functions such as mobility, energy storage, control, remote operation, autonomous operation, communications, navigation, detection and recognition, physical protection, automatic recharging, object handling and manipulation, offensive weapon systems, defensive systems, etc.
Every sub-system is physically packaged with its own management capability and can interface with other sub-systems and the central platform management system (CPMS). Function reliability can be provided by duplication and segregation of sub-systems, and any malfunction can be restored by changing the package on duty. Platform maintainability also improves by easy physical change of any malfunction package.
MODULAR LAND
SYSTEM PACKAGES
HDS can provide research, development, integration, testing and certification on the installation of OEM packages of specialize driving and mobility systems, combined towers for EO/IR surveillance, tracking, fire control and weapons system towers and armored shield protection systems.
Our application to the land systems sector is based on common transversal technology solutions already applied for naval and marine platforms and aerospace system platforms.
HDS, as platform designer and system integrator, can provide very cost-effective solutions for military and police organizations with reduced budget. The final solution could be based on COTS or MOTS components or a combination of both depending on the required capabilities and ambient conditions of operation.
HDS can provide integration solutions for weapon systems on utility vehicles and on-board surveillance systems to acquire control capabilities on reliable platforms at reduced cost.
