Our aerospace branch is committed to the progress development of the AUTOGIRO rotary wing concept, base on Spanish inventor and engineer Juan de la Cierva.
HDS is currently developing the design of a small cargo STOL transport aircraft combining high lift wing profiles with a retractable autogiro rotary wing system.
This solution can provide an alternative to standard helicopters or complex convertible aircraft when larger range and cruising speed are required, and airport facilities allow the STOL operation. This technology can be applied to manned and unmanned aircraft systems.

Our designs of long-range aerial vehicles can develop complete autonomous missions on specified routes through airspaces with highly degraded communication conditions by electronic countermeasures. The propulsion package and the launching procedure is optimized for minimum fuel consumption and maximum range. The recovery system is based on extreme STOL capabilities using autogiro rotary wings.
Our short-range aerial vehicles are based in adaptations of well proven commercial products and design drone configurations to offer a reliable military product at reduced cost. The product is fully developed and manufactured with complete traceability of components to ensure the maintenance during its operational life cycle.
HDS is also committed to the development of airship technology as aerial platforms for short range surveillance and control of restricted airspace and land areas generated by military installations, critical industrial sites, harbors, border lines, etc.

HDS can provide research, development, integration, testing and certification on the installation of OEM packages of communications, surveillance and weapon systems onboard aerial manned and unmanned platforms.
Our application to the aerospace sector is based on common transversal technology solutions already applied for naval and marine platforms and land system platforms.
HDS, as platform designer and system integrator, can provide very cost-effective solutions for military and police organizations with reduced budget. The final solution could be based on COTS or MOTS components or a combination of both depending on the required capabilities and ambient conditions of operation.
HDS can provide integration solutions for weapon systems on propelled fixed wings aircraft for utility missions and on-board long-range unmanned surveillance systems to acquire control capabilities on reliable platforms at reduced cost.
